In conjunction with the monumental textile piece, Longing 2025, Hylozoic/Desires activate the water bodies of Bukhara every full moon. A ritual-performance summoning water will take place every full moon, when the tides of the world are high. Accompanied by a naqqara-khana ensemble, a drummer and a water diviner issue calls for water in the four cardinal directions. They move along the canals, ending at the minaret where a call and response mimics the watery pulse of earth.
